16 September saw the launch of Foresight, eight&four’s new bi-monthly salon series for marketing leaders navigating change. Hosted in London, the first session brought together clients, partners, and industry peers for an afternoon of insight, debate, and candid conversation about the real impact of AI.
The feedback set the tone:
“So refreshing to hear AI talked about with some nuance for once.”
“Such an antidote to all the noise.”
“Loved the snappy format, was so engaging.”
Our line-up of speakers covered the breadth of AI’s influence:
Chloe Singleton explored how AI is reshaping search.
Emma Wharton Love examined AI’s environmental impact.
Paul Hartigan shared perspectives on AI in pharma.
Tom Hewitson broke down how AI actually works.
Steve Thomas & Amy McCulloch (HSBC) discussed how the bank is integrating AI into workflows.
Sam Glyn Davies drew on Aristotle to show how to identify where AI can create real business impact.
It was fantastic to see so many of our clients, partners, and friends in person, reflecting eight&four’s mission to create forums that cut through the hype and bring clarity to urgent industry shifts.

📆 The next Foresight session will take place soon, this time with a deep dive into the rapidly changing world of social. Same format: focused, practical, and designed to equip marketing leaders for the realities of today’s communications landscape.
