EIGHT&FOUR UP FOR THE DRUM AWARDS FOR CONTENT 2022

After receiving nominations in The Drum Digital Industries and Social Media categories, we’re back to share more good news. eight&four has been shortlisted in The Drum Awards for Content 2022 in the Music, Entertainment, Gaming and E-Sports category for our work on Candy Crush Saga’s loyalty programme, Royalty.

Over the last 18 months, we’ve worked closely with the Royalty team across time zones to help bring the programme to life in US and Canada. From monthly newsletters and editorial game pieces to VIP behind-the-scenes content and limited-edition rewards, every month we create members-only content for the game’s top players. High-profile collabs include partnering with Khloe Kardashian and recently Meghan Trainor who unwrapped jars of exclusive content through Royalty to celebrate 10 years of Candy Crush.

Our hard work has paid off. Members are engaging with the programme more now than ever before and are satisfied with the wide variety of content they can enjoy with Royalty. Our challenge for 2023 is to improve on the amazing work we’ve done this year and look to make the experience even sweeter.
