EIGHT&FOUR WINS ‘BEST USE OF SOCIAL MEDIA’ AT AUTOMOTIVE MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS AWARDS FOR WORK WITH GENESIS

This year continues on a high for eight&four with yet another award win for the ‘Best Use of Social Media’ at the annual Automotive Marketing & Communications Awards.

We’ve been the social media agency for Genesis Europe since the Korean car brand launched in the UK, Germany and Switzerland nearly two years ago. Starting from scratch, social media is today the number one channel for customers to learn about the brand, so this work has been crucial in building the brand and driving sales.

To lay the groundwork for future success, we defined an integrated social strategy alongside key milestones and a clear framework for measuring impact. Being an established brand in South Korea and the USA, our challenge was to tailor the strategy to the European target consumer and market nuances with a digital-first approach that drove brand recognition online.
