European Agency Awards 2022: Celebrating three wins for eight&four

We’re pleased to announce three award wins at the  European Agency Awards 2022, including Gold in both Best Pan European Campaign and Integrated Agency of the Year.

 Gold in Best Pan European Campaign (Genesis)

Our work with Genesis Motors Europe – a luxury South Korean automotive brand part of the Hyundai family – has been a highlight of the last 12 months for the agency. Tasked with the challenge of launching a product in the ultra-competitive European market, we were able to elevate their brand proposition through a winning social strategy which combined innovation and creative collaboration.

Genesis Europe soon became a major channel for the global Genesis brand and in under a year we delivered 7 successful production shoots and 600+ pieces of content– generating 69k followers and 702k engagements.

We also managed to secure 100 new influencers/ambassadors for the brand, resulting in a further 568k engagements, 1000 pieces of content and engagement rates surpassing 10%+.

At eight&four, we are proud to offer a contemporary service offering – delivering integrated, performance driven social and creative.

We have full in-house production capabilities – which has seen our talented production team spend around 68 days on foreign soil in 2022 alone to date – allowing us to successfully deliver fully integrated work for some of the leading global luxury brands across the world including Genesis (Hyundai), Sandals, Aberlour Whisky and the Candy Crush Saga creator, King.

Having been named in Campaign’s Top 50 Places to Work in marketing for 4 years in a row, our company culture matches our enthusiasm for our work which is why we’ve had a staff retention rate of 91% for the last 12 months.

Our continued collaboration with Genesis Motor Europe highlights our rising success within the automotive sector, which saw us launch the brand’s Pan European channels from scratch in April ’21 alongside paid content and influencer partnerships.

Pre-launching the website, we supported events to drive brand awareness and create traction across their social platforms and drive fame for Genesis. This led to positive sentiment increasing to 96% on key social channels and an average of 2.5k monthly inbound mentions in the second half of 2021.

The second half of the year we focused purely on education around the Genesis difference – driving website traffic, studio visits and enabled email sign-ups. Our integrated campaign laid the foundation of brand awareness and drove action in various forms, giving our client record breaking figures from a zero-starting point on launch day. 

We’re delighted with this recognition, and looking forward to building on our awards momentum in 2023.
