WHAT WE’VE BEEN UP TO IN NOVEMBER: CANON HERO VIDEO, MARIE CURIE BRAND CAMPAIGN AND MORE

For eight&four, 2023 has been a busy yet exciting year full of award nominations and pitch wins, AI discoveries and campaigns with a cause. But none of this would be possible without our amazing team who work harder than ever to provide us with year-on-year success.

So now it only seems right to take a look at some of the incredible projects that have been brought to life in the last few months, before 2023 sadly comes to an end and we start preparing for another new year of work and wins…

SETTING THE MOOD FOR CANON

With the launch of their new Canon Light & Speaker ML-A – a product combining a portable lamp and a Bluetooth speaker – Canon not only needed to drive sales of the product, but also establish brand awareness as they were tapping into a whole new category outside of digital cameras and professional printers.

As a way of connecting with their audience, we decided to choose three moods from daily life to convey that most consumers would be able to resonate with: relaxation, productivity, and entertainment.

This led to a 30 second hero video showcasing a variety of scenarios within the home where the Canon Light & Speaker ML-A helps to set an ambience and ideal atmosphere for the different moods throughout the day.

MAKING A DIFFERENCE WITH MARIE CURIE

We’ve spent 7 wonderful years supporting Marie Curie with their social campaigns, and we were able to work together to create their 2023 Brand Campaign. 

Social-first engagement was the main objective, which allowed us to highlight the amazing work that Marie Curie do for their patients on a day-to-day basis, while also sharing the touching stories of some of their patients who have been on their own journey with the charity.

The important message that Marie Curie aim to convey is that they’re with you to the end, so it was our job to ensure this came across in their 2023 campaign.

WE’VE GOT OUR MIND ON CHRISTMAS

Following some incredible results for the Mind Christmas campaign in 2022, we’re aiming to finish 2023 with a bang by making sure the new campaign for the mental health charity is just as successful as last year, if not better.
