We're proud to share that eight&four has been named on the 2026 IPA Beacon List, recognising twenty of the UK's most exciting emerging and high-growth agencies.
Now in its second year, the IPA Beacon List is the industry body's annual snapshot of the agencies redefining what the next generation of creative agency looks like. It's spearheaded by Paul Mead, IPA Agency Chair and founder of VCCP Media, and built from months of research, interviews and outreach across the IPA network. To be one of just twenty agencies chosen this year is a real badge of honour."
The 2026 list lands at a moment of real change in the agency world. Restructuring, consolidation, economic pressure and the speed of AI have reshaped what clients expect and how agencies need to work. The IPA's view is that the agencies on this year's list are the ones responding to that pressure with reinvention rather than retreat, building businesses around creativity, community, technology and a sharper sense of what actually works.
That's a description we recognise. Over the past year we've opened our Miami office, grown the team in London, launched the third edition of Foresight, and continued to develop Scholar, our proprietary GenAI copy tool that was shortlisted at the Indie Awards in January. The thread running through all of it is the same: build the agency around the work, stay close to culture, and keep finding better ways to make content that audiences actually want to spend time with.
Being named on the Beacon List is a meaningful moment for everyone here. Thank you to the IPA, to Paul Mead and Ellen Hammett for the work behind the list, and to the clients and partners who have backed us along the way. And to the team, all of you, in London, Manchester and Miami: this one's yours.
