eight&four secures a double nomination at the Global Social Media Awards for work with Genesis Europe  

We're thrilled that eight&four has been nominated for not one, but two awards at this year’s Global Social Media Awards, in recognition for our work with automotive brand Genesis Europe.

We're in the running for the ‘Best Long-term Strategic Use of Social Media’ award, which celebrates our journey to establish the brand in the European market. Our strategy focused on brand-building, funnel optimisation, and fostering an engaged community to drive growth and awareness across 3 key markets and solidify Genesis’ position as a premium brand with a luxury experience. As part of this, we built a network of over 160 influencers who delivered a whopping 12M impressions and 900K engagements on their content.

 In the ‘Best Integrated Campaign’ category, it’s our Genesis Face Connect campaign that has made the shortlist, an initiative which launched the brand’s built-in face recognition technology. By collaborating with open-water swimmer Sophie Hellyer and travel filmmaker Manuel Dietrich, we created two hero films celebrating the Genesis technology’s ability to leave the driver with more time to focus on what they really enjoy – whether that be finding peace-of-mind or stepping out of their comfort zone. Via storytelling and strategic channel selection, we delivered exceptional results to our target audiences: 958K views on YouTube and a further 3.7M views on Instagram and 9,800 engagements, with a video completion rate of 86.5%.
