European Content Awards: eight&four Takes the Travel Category Win with Sandals Resorts

We’re thrilled to announce yet another award win for eight&four – this time in the prestigious European Content Awards!

The work as part of our partnership with Sandals Resorts earned the top spot in the ‘Travel/Leisure Content Campaign of the Year’ category, where the judges had particular praise for the multichannel strategic content approach, commenting “We thought this was a very well executed and technical campaign, with solid content and strategy. It was consistent across all channels and they really focused on the customer journey... delivering such great results”.

Sandals Resorts had a strong existing reputation in luxury travel - particularly among Gen X and Baby Boomer audiences - but with increasing competition and a changing market, a new evolution was necessary for the brand. Enter, eight&four!

The campaign that we developed centred on repositioning consumer perception of the brand on social media, moving away from the previous visual identity and developing new creative concepts to engage younger generations.

Our work with Sandals Resorts involved transforming their social media presence and engaging millennial audiences with a fresh content approach. We developed an audience-first editorial programme that tapped into social trends and ensured the brand showed up in the right spaces at the right time.

We’re delighted to have been recognised with this award and we can’t wait to see what the rest of 2023 brings for our work with Sandals Resorts.
