UPDATES FROM EIGHT&FOURIANS: NEW WINS, LIVE CONTENT DEVELOPMENT AND CREATIVE SUCCESS

Summer turned out to be a busy time for the agency, after our big ‘on-the-ground’ events saw a handful of our eight&fourians get whisked away to two different locations for two of our luxury clients.

And whilst we’re a hybrid company, onsite and in-person is fundamental to our way of working. We have a strong team allocated to on-the-ground and live content capture and we proactively seek out opportunities to spend dedicated time with our clients.

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION

First was for the South Korean automotive brand, Genesis Motor Europe, where our team spent two weeks delivering live and partnership content at the Genesis Scottish Open. During this time, we delivered end-to-end content production capturing innovative social media content, activating an army of talented influencers, and achieving over 7 million video views over the course of the event. Here’s a roundup of our success in Scotland.

We were then lucky enough to take part in the Sandals Resorts annual conference in Miami, which was an important time of evolution for the brand; our brief was to discuss the role of social in redefining the editorial direction, harnessing the existing community, and reaching new audiences. We also shared our POV on leveraging AI for both creativity and productivity. It was a brilliant few days of inspiration and education and we feel honoured to have been invited to represent the agency.

WINNING OUR WAY THROUGH 2023

And there were no signs of slowing down – following a x4 way creative pitch, eight&four managed to win a social retainer with retail company JML, working on content and creative across a range of their homeware and DIY products. Watch this space for all things do it yourself!

Continuing the winning streak, Everyman Cinemas appointed us as their strategic social partner, supporting them on an ambitious social consolidation project for the brand to help them take their social strategy to the next level. An exciting project for an inspiring brand off the back of a great summer for cinema, and we’re absolutely thrilled to be involved.

TURNING INSPIRATION INTO IDEATION

While some of the team have been working on live content development, the rest have been cooking up a creative storm with clients on the roster. Here’s a round-up of what we’ve been up to…

After a successful campaign a few years back, Ronald McDonald House Charities entrusted us to develop their 2023 brand campaign. We ran the full end-to-end process from creative ideation through to production for their TV ad as well as multiple social and audio ads. Take a look for yourselves.

Nutmeg set us the objective of simplifying complex financial terminology into east-to-understand products, which led us to producing a series of 6 in-app videos using a playful approach to keep the content engaging and informative. Here’s one of the videos.

And following our biggest shoot of the summer with the Watches of Switzerland Group, the work is now live across multiple formats within Goldsmiths and Mappin & Webb stores, online, across social and emails. See some of the videos we created for Mappin & Webb and Goldsmiths.

What will the final part of 2023 bring us? Let’s wait and find out!
