How We Helped HSBC Implement GenAI into Content Workflows

We were delighted to implement our proprietary AI copy tool - Scholar - into HSBC’s Global Private Banking team. We carefully trained Scholar to help their marketing team unlock the full value of their reports through scalable, secure and brand-immersed AI content creation.

A small, overstretched marketing team was responsible for promoting some of the organisation’s most important financial reports. But while the reports were rich in insight, there wasn’t enough resource to repurpose them for wider distribution across the website, relationship manager channels and social media. As a result, high-value content was underused, limiting reach and engagement.

The problem wasn’t the quality of the content, but the time and tools needed to translate it effectively. Each report contained huge potential for thought-leadership, client comms and marketing materials, but transforming dense financial data into audience-friendly formats required scale, precision and consistency. The opportunity lay in combining AI efficiency with human quality control to unlock that potential.

Scholar, a fully brand-immersed and secure AI copy tool, is a key part of our proprietary platform12 suite. It is designed to integrate seamlessly into existing workflows and support teams from ideation through to delivery.

We integrated Scholar into HSBC content workflows, so that from a single report, the team can now produce marketing articles, campaign copy, executive summaries, relationship manager email templates, social media posts and localised translations, including both Traditional and Simplified Chinese.

With Scholar embedded in their process, the marketing team can now repurpose every major report across multiple channels, in a fraction of the time it once took. Content reaches more audiences, in more formats and in more languages than ever before.

The next evolution is already underway, focusing on an advanced build that will generate graphs, imagery, PowerPoint templates and simple animations, further extending how far a single piece of content can go.
